Dear Proctor Family,

Although some time has passed, all my deepest sympathy goes out to you - his parents, children and other family members and loved ones. Having known Nathan so many years ago when we attended The University of Missouri together, I am deeply saddened to have just recently learned of his passing from a mutual friend from Mizzou who played on the football team with him. Tank, as we all called him, was a good friend and spoke proudly of his children. I pray that God continues to grant you strength and that his compassion and love lifts you up when you need to lean on Him for a little while. I will keep Nathan in my memory and all the best wishes in my heart for his children, for the rest of my days. May God Bless you.

To Daddy ,

Walking down the road thinking deep within

Knocking on the doors hoping theyíll let me in

A door opens and I look to their eye

I turn around while hearing them cry

Singing to myself a painful lullaby

As I walk toward the shadows

Here comes a breeze of wind

Sending chills down my spine and my head starts to spin

Yelling out loud and wandering the earth

I sit down and wish the world would reverse

As I stare at people that donít even notice me

My heart fills with anger and I wish to go to sleep

Instead I reveal my soul of misery

Somebody help me, I canít go it alone

Every bone inside me feels like a tread stone

So please help me, Iíll do what I can

Better hurry ícause I see the ambulance rushing in

Whatís the emergency?

My heart is wounded again..

I lost daddy.

Connie and Rodney,

There is no pain greater than that of a parent who loses a child. Nobody can say they "Know how you feel," if they have not experienced this unbearable loss. So, we just want you to know that we are lifting all of you - including Nathan's family - up in prayer, and asking that "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." May He hold and comfort you in His unchanging hand.
