Anne Grichuhin passed away peacefully last September with her loving husband Ted and beloved twin sister Judy at her side. Anne was born in Syracuse, NY, to William and Dorothy Batinchok. She graduated from Cazenovia High School in 1964. Anne loved music and played the bass clarinet in which she was chosen to attend the “All State Music Conference”, the top New York high school music award. She graduated from Kent State University in 1968 with a Degree in Political Science. Anne started her Seattle career at Seattle Trust and then Laird Norton Trust, where she became a Portfolio Manager and Vice President. Anne was very active in the Seattle chapter of the CFA, where she could be seen volunteering at their seminars. A lifelong Girl Scout, she became a brownie at the age of 7, a camp counselor in her teens and joined the board of the Totem Council Girl Scouts where she chaired the Investment Committee for many years. Anne loved the outdoors and had a green thumb that showed in her extensive garden/arboretum on Bainbridge Island. For years she was an avid biker and rode the Chilly Hilly on the 25th anniversary of the event. Anne is survived by her husband of 42 years, Theodore and her twin sister Judy Batinchok.
