Harley DeWayne Jones


Born September 18, 1926 in Galesburg, IL; Harley passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2014 at age 87. 

He served in the Army in WWII.  Harley and his family moved to Washington in 1964.  He retired from Seattle Metro Transit in 1988. 

Harley was a loving husband to Maudie Jones who passed away February 25, 2009 and father to Jeffrey Jones who died June 6, 1984.  He cared deeply for his surviving family members; Son Steven Jones; Daughters Susan Curley (Greg Meyers), Teresa Bush (David) and Elizabeth Williams (Darryl Coker); Grandchildren, Sean, Megan, Tyler, Devan, Divinity, Donavon, Darianna; Great-grandchildren, Aislinn, Ryan, Rhys, Dante.

I met your Dad at Dorianna bday party he sat next to me and talk to me as if he knew me for years. He's very nice man, grandfather,great grandfather. He left a great legacy behind, he will be missed by many. Much love and support to family and friends at this time.
