Thirty-one years ago I met Margaret IMcMicken Elementary school.

Later she and Bud delivered Meals on Wheels to my parents. They looked forward to their visits with Margaret and Bud.

Two years ago we our friendship grew when I came to the SeaTac Senior Center. She has the respect of many for her dedicated service to our community. I will miss her stories and, of course. her smile.

I knew Margaret my entire life; she and my mother were the best of friends and they had many good times together, along with my dad and her husband Bud. They went on annual trips together with a group from "playgroup" from way back when I was a little girl. She has always been felt to be part of our family and she will be missed.

Margaret lived her life well. Her inspirational spunk and enthusiasm was such a positive example to all who knew her. Margaret and Bud's community involvement was enormous and touched many lives. Rest well, "Special Lady". You will be remembered, lovingly, always.

I am so glad I got to know Margaret. We had many long talks and I loved hearing her accounts of her experiences.

Margaret was wonderful lady and role model and I will miss her enthusiasm and her smile.
