James Jerome Anderson

James Jerome Anderson, who passed away on May 31, 2015, was born in Moscow, Idaho on April 26, 1929.
He was the middle son of John Arvid and Anna M. Anderson. The family moved to Enumclaw and Jim graduated from Enumclaw High School. At University of Puget Sound he majored in music and was active in the band and became a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia as well. After some time spent as a professional musician, he returned to school and earned degrees in both Music and Education from Western Washington University. He later earned a MA in Education from the University of Washington. Jim enjoyed a long career in teaching and spent happy years in an active retirement with worldwide travel as well as building and flying radio control model airplanes. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and both his brothers, John Robert (Bob) Anderson and Dr. Charles LeRoy Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maralyn, and their two daughters, Sheryl and Cynthia. At his request, there will be no services.
