David Lynn Dideon, aged 53, of Algona, Washington died on February 12, 2016 at Legacy Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon. David was born in Seattle on December 27, 1962 to Arden and Cleo Dideon. Dave was one of my best friends and I will hold many great memories of him in my heart forever. We chose Dave to be the godfather of our son, Tanner because of the man he was and the respect we had for him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. We will miss you my dear friend!

I am at a loss for words, You will always be missed at our Rush Functions, so glad I got to know you, I bid well wishes to the Family to ease their pain and offer a poem I found. Bless you.....

"Donít grieve for me, for now Iím free,

Iím following paths God made for me

I took his hand, I heard him call

Then turned, and bid farewell to all

I could not stay another day

To laugh, to love, to sing, to play

Tasks left undone must stay that way

I found my peaceÖ at close of play

And if my parting left a void

Then fill it with remembered joy

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss

Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdenedÖ deep with sorrow

I wish you sunshine of tomorrow

My lifeís been full Iíve savoured much

Good friends, good times

A loved oneís touch

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief

Donít lengthen it now with grief

Lift up your hearts and share with me,

God wants me nowÖ He set me free.
