Obituary

David Alan Liddell passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Federal Way after a serious illness.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years,  Caroline,  of Federal Way;  3 children from a previous marriage:  Martin Liddell (Doralise) , of Gilbert, Arizona;  Heather Liddell of Olympia; Douglas Liddell of Olympia, and 2 stepsons:  David Vacanti (Shirley)  of Anacortes and Daniel Vacanti (Becky) of Federal Way.   David is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He served during WWII  with the Canadian Merchant Marine, entering at a young age as a cadet officer.  David was a machinist and tool and die maker, and had a love for the sea and sailing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maude Liddell and a brother, William (“Captain  Bill”) Liddell, formerly of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Funeral services are held on Tuesday, 4/12/16 at St. Theresa Parish in Federal Way.
