I just found out about the passing of Sharon thru the annual newspaper printed by West Seattle High School. Sharon is a 1963 graduated. Sharon was my hairdresser for 25 years, first working out of her home, then at the Fauntleroy salon. My husband & I were on an Alaska cruise in 2002 and had lunch with Sharon while in town.

I was sadden to ready about her passing. She was a very giving person and we enjoyed many laughs together. Thanks for the phone call Mary Faye and my sympathy to you and your sisters. May God comfort you in the months ahead. Blessings

Just recently heard of Sharon's passing. I knew her since 1989 in West Seattle where she had her beauty shop. I had the shop next her (The Wayside) . We would walk almost every morning before work in Lincoln Park and have great chats about life etc. She was always such a loving and positive person and great friend.

Will miss our conversations sweetie---Angels be with you!

My favorite hairdresser in West Seattle as well as Anchorage, till I moved out of the state in 2002. Our first meeting was in Brownies near Lafeyette Elementary which continued through Scouting. We were Candy stripers at the old West Seattle Hospital formerly at the West Seattle Junction on Alaska St., and had many adventures, starting about 60+ years ago. She blossomed from a shy little girl, in those early days, to a beautiful woman both inside and out, who would do anything for anyone. She was a dear friend and will be sorely missed by many. Love you sweetie. See you later my dear.

I had so many good times with Sharon. We knew each other since grade school. I will never forget the time, we took a one day trip to Port Townsend. We toured the historical homes and hit some second hand stores. Well, I found a treadle sewing machine and showed Sharon so she bought it. Then the fun began. It wouldn't fit in the trunk of her car. So I say, "we can take the backseat out" She said "won't come out" I said "it will, watch" and I got the seat out and we got the sewing machine into the car. Needless to say, Ted was not happy with us.

I am real glad to have met Roy. When they came to Ballard, we had a nice visit and lunch at my favorite Chinese Restaurant. They met Eva's twin girls. I can't forget all the times I painted the salon window for the holidays. We did a barter system. I did her windows and she gave me a perm. Sharon will always be in my heart and one of my best friends. Roy, Mary Faye, Shari Lynn, and Lee Ann, you are in my prayers so take care of each other and God Bless you and your families.

I have to work Monday so will be thinking of you all.

I miss you so much!! It kills me that I did not get the chance to say goodbye to you. I am however glad that I was able to talk with you on Christmas Day even if it was for a brief moment. I wish I could come be with the family on Monday and say goodbye to you the proper way but I know you would understand the reasons as to why I am unable to get there to say goodbye. I love you so much Grandma and I just wish we had more time to make more memories. I will cherish all the amazing memories I have with you. I wish I had kept one of my voicemail from you so I could listen to your beautiful voice anytime I wanted.

I love you always and forever

Bye Bye for now Grandma

My heart is heavy with the losses in our family this winter. I am grateful that we were able to share Christmas Eve dinner with Sharon and Roy. It was truly a blessing to see and spend time with her.
