Obituary

Dennis Allen Bedier, 85 years young, peacefully left us to join his loving wife Joanne in Heaven, on February 22nd, 2017.

Denny was born in Seattle, Washington on December 28th, 1931 to Peter and Ethel Bedier.

Denny grew up in Ballard, WA.  He graduated from Ballard High School.  Denny joined the military and served with the Seabees in the Navy before settling in Seattle and marrying his wife, Joanne (Duford). Denny and Joanne were active members of their church, Trinity United Methodist Church.  Joanne served on many committees and Denny helped keep the church mechanically sound.   He enjoyed the outdoors and camping with his family and friends, affectionately known as the camping group.   Denny worked for Pacific Northwest Bell for over 35 years.  Once retired, he and Joanne spent their time traveling, spending quality time at their beach house in Ocean Park, WA.  Denny spent his final years at Ida Culver Broadview Retirement Home.

Denny is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Ethel, his loving Wife of 52 years Joanne, Brother Edward and Eddie’s wife Janet.   He is survived by his Daughter Brenda Jensen (husband Jim), Son Jeff and grandchildren; Nathan Elms (wife Amanda), Phoenix, Makayla and Jacob. Nieces Carolyn Michler (husband Chris), and Cindy Bedier.

Denny was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and son.  He will be missed so much.  We take comfort knowing he is with Mom now.

Really enjoyed being with both Joanne and Denny on any occasion. They used their gifts for the church they loved. Camping was the most fun. Sorry we could not be at the memorial. Love to all the family.
