Tracey Dawn Prohaska obituary image 1

Tracey Dawn Prohaska

Tracey was born in Seattle, Washington to Ron and Edie Prohaska on September 14, 1977.  Tracey went home to be with the Lord May 20, 2017 leaving behind parents Ron and Ruth Prohaska, Matt and Edie Norem; sisters Jessica Rassmussen and Jamie Koch.

Tracey grew up in West Seattle with her dad Ron Prohaska.  They spent many weekends snow skiing, boating, hiking and fishing.  All making her very happy.

Tracey later moved to Des Moines with mom Edie Norem, where she enjoyed playing softball, camping, fishing and many other outdoor activities.

Tracey loved trying new things, she went hunting for bear, birds and deer.  Spent many hours at the beach digging clams, shucking oysters and crabbing.  Tracey also loved doing puzzles.

Tracey graduated from Federal Way High School and continued her education in the medical field.  She took classes at Highline Community College and Renton Vocational where she was certified as a Surgical Technician.  She worked a few odd jobs and then settled in to a wonderful position at Pacific Medical Center.  She worked for Pac/Med for several years where she made many lasting friends-coworkers.  Tracey’s coworkers describe her as a shining light to all and had a smile that was infectious.

Tracey loved her family very much.  She spent a lot of time with her grandma Gloria, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tracey was also loved so very much by her family and we will all miss her very much.

Please join us in celebrating her life Friday, July 7, 2017 at 4:00pm at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, Washington.

Tracey my baby, I miss you with all my heart. Life is so difficult to face without you. You are always on my mind. I think of you putting your cheek next to mine and saying, I love you mommy. I can't wait to be with you again. Your sister is doing everything she can go keep your memory alive. We are walking in Tacoma for your cause. Why can't we have a 2nd chance? I need you do much. Mom
