Obituary

Carrie Lou Whitbeck went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2017 at the age of 90. She was born in Hamilton, Montana and moved to Seattle in 1943. She graduated from Highline High School in 1945. In 1949, she married Bob Whitbeck, promised “All my love, all my life!” and they were married over 61 years. They raised three children and they worked as co-directors of a Christian Ministry called “The Way Inn” for nine years. This ended up being the job she loved the most. She served God in her church in many ways; teaching, counseling, and sharing her life with others. Her kindness and love for people was always apparent throughout her life, but even more important was her love for Jesus and her desire to share the Good News and hope that she had in him.
