Howard Allen Monta

Retired Seattle Police Sergeant, Howard A. Monta, was born in Seattle, Washington in 1938.  His wide variety of life experiences instilled within him a desire to be a guardian for others, in addition to a quest for adventure.

During his formative years, there was never a notion that he was destined to be a cop.  Howard's life experiences include: U.S. Air Force (1956 - 1959), Seattle Firefighter (1961 - 1966); U of W student (1966 - 1698); University of Puget Sound (B of A Degree/Public Administration 1974); Seattle Police Officer and Sergeant (1968 - 1997) and author of How Police Officers Get Hired (1999) - a textbok written to assist prspective police candidates.

With the assistance of his talented, lifelong partner in marriage (Liz), Howard became a successful writer.
