Mary Anne Lambert
Apr 5, 1946 – Aug 4, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Anne Lambert announces her passing on August 4, 2018 in Seattle after a long battle with lung disease. She was 72 years old.
Born in Boston on April 5th, 1946 to the late Frank and Rita (Goggin) Lambert, she was a graduate of Emanuel college and received her MBA from Northeastern University. She went on to have a long career as a financial analyst for the Mitre Corp.
After retirement, she was involved in many activities. An avid gardener, she became president of the Lexington Garden Club and also volunteered for a number of charitable organizations. She lived life fully. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she was a dedicated friend to many. Always positive and caring of others, she will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind her husband and best friend of forty-two years, David Litwack, her two sons, Peter and Kevin, and two young granddaughters, Amy and Lisa, as well as her sisters, Jane Sterling and Dorothy Sullivan.
Close family gathered in Seattle at the time of her passing, with plans to hold a celebration of her life at her two most recent residences in Falmouth, Cape Cod and Bonita Springs, Florida.
Donations in memory of Mary Anne can be made to the American Lung Association or the Arthritis Foundation. Since Mary Anne so much loved her flowers, if you’re so inclined, please plant a flower for her.
