Obituary

Robert ‘Bud’ Paul Schlicker, age 93, died peacefully at his home on Friday, March 20, 2009. Bud was predeceased by his beloved wife Grace in 2007 and is survived by his daughter, Stella Margaret Anderson and many friends including ‘Team Schlicker’ – Lynn Kier Nye, Matthew Kier, Amalia ‘Mellie’ Atienza, Jane Taylor, Nancy Folsom, Lady and Winston. Bud was a proud US Army veteran, served in World War II and was a long standing member of the American Legion and the 40 and 8. He served as Chef DeGare and Grand Child Welfare Director of 40 et 8 Voiture 75 for 13 years.
Committal services will be held on Monday, 03/30/09 at 1:00 pm at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 206 242-1787

I knew Bud & Grace for about 40 years. My fondest memory of Grace is when she called me back in Michiganto tell me I had become an Aunt. My fondest memory of Bud is the 40&8 parties in his yard.

Great Uncle Bud, I will always remember you and Grace’s trips back to Falls City, always had fun when you were back here. You & Grace will always be in my memories.

Bud, you will be greatly missed here in Omaha by your grandchildren,and great grandchildren. Your grandson Lanny Jr.talked to me often about all the fishing that you did together, I know that he will think of you often when he is fishing. We will remember the all the good times had and will treasure them always. You will be great missed from your family in Omaha. Your grandson wife Sandi.
