Don J. Nelson
Passed away unexpectedly on October 5th, 2009. He was born on Sept 12, 1928 in Wisconsin to Martha and Vernon Nelson.

Don retired in 1991, after 40 years with Gordon Brown, Inc. He and his wife Junee began traveling the world and just returned from a cruise to Mexico for their 55th wedding anniversary. He also volunteered with the Gideons Bible Society.

He is survived by his wife Junee, daughter Julie Lemery Steve, son Chris, 4 grandchildren, Matt Sloan, Sally Sloan, Zachary Nelson and Ben Lemery ; siblings Derrald, Ken, Barbara Mooney, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Berean Bible Church 2345 N 185th, Shoreline at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 9th, where he was active as a Christian Ed director, was on the Elder Board and taught Bible classes.

Our condolences to the entire Nelson family. Don was a great asset to our business. I worked for Don when I was an apprentice back in 1988. He was always fair and very well know in the industry. I believe he was the best superintendants my Grandfather ever had. We will all miss him.
