Christopher Downey
Christopher Downey was born May 8, 1950 in Sunnyside, Oregon to Nelson and Florence (Hamilton) Downey, and died April 1, 2014 in SeaTac, Washington at the age of 63.
Christopher worked as a Jitney Driver for Boeing for 35 years. He loved to read, watch movies, and play on his computer.
Christopher is survived by his daughter Andrea Downey, brother Nelson Downey, sister Mary Wagner, nieces Tammy Wagner, and Corrina Gates, nephews Robert Downey, Jim Downey, Brandon Downey, Benjamin Downey, and many extended great nieces and nephews. Serivices will be private.

Science Fiction fandom is greatly saddened by this news, we have only just found out. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to his family.
I was blessed to know this wonderful person, this blessing included being his guide on his first visit to Disneyland at the wondrous age of 37. I will never forget our ride on Space Mountain when the gate to our car did not lock, we laughed so hard we never saw much of the ride. He was a wonderful friend and I will miss him. Blessing to all your family Chris.
Godspeed on this next journey. Even though we haven’t seen each other in years, I still miss all the good times at the cons we attended. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends.
