Patricia Sieber was born Patricia Giles on April 5, 1922 in Olympia, Washington, and died on March 31, 2007 in Des Moines, Washington. Pat grew up the second child and only daughter of Fred and Amy Giles of Boston Harbor. She attended the old Gull Harbor Grade School, Roosevelt Grade School and graduated from Olympia High School in 1939. She married high school sweetheart, Ken Cuyler, and had one daughter, Diane. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl ”Pat” Patterson in 1968, Donald Sieber in
1997, as well as by her two brothers Albert and Richard Giles, and her parents.
Pat worked for the Attorney General’s Division, the Department of Institutions, and the
Superintendent of Public Instruction’s office retiring after a career of 30 years. Her strong work ethic, keen intelligence and positive personal relation skills made her a highly-respected employee.
Pat’s kind, thoughtful character and good sense of humor charmed all who had the privilege of knowing her. She loved her family and will be missed by daughter, Diane Fred, granddaughter Jana Andy, grandson, Erik Jen and two great grandchildren,
Karsten 5 1/2 and Britta 2 1/2. Pat will also be missed by her nieces and nephew and other family members and friends.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in SeaTac, Washington, at 1:00 P.M. In remembrance of Pat, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Hospice, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in SeaTac, WA or a charity of your choice.
