Retired LCDR. Richard “Dick” BRUCE
Was born on July 14, 1913, in Seattle, Washington, and passed away on Tuesday evening, January 31, 2012, in Seattle. He is preceded in death by his first and second wives, Willamay and Jessie; his brother Edward Bruce, his sister Virginia Brooks, and daughter Joan Benson. Richard is survived by his daughters Sharon Hillman (Kent), Marian St. Cyr, and Joyce Almerigi (David). A Memorial will be held at Wesley Homes, The Garden Bldg., 815 S. 216th Street, Des Moines, WA 98198, at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 4, 2012.
