To The Family of Mr. Roy Denman
Dad’s laugh, his corny chicken jokes, his generosity, his stories, his voice. I miss dad, and will always feel him close to me always. I love you Dad!
Words cannot express the way that I feel for your loss. Roy was a very special man and always made me feel like part of the family. He may have been a man of few words at times but his message came across in his eyes or just giving you a certain look. His kindness was ever lasting and gave from his heart. He will be remembered by all and his memories will last forever. May each of you be blessed for the rest of your lives.
I am so sorry for the loss of your father. He was such a good, kind man. He was, and always will be, so important in your lives. I pray that your pain will subside and will be replaced by happy memories that he gave you. You will see him in Heaven. God bless you. Love, Gayle

I wished my children could have been told some of the stories he’d told me about the war, he was a joker, a reader, and most of all loved his political radio. I will forever miss hearing his radio coming from his bedroom and blarring out to the living room or how his eyes would light up from a box of chocolates. He was a quiet man that liked to see people, talk for a bit, then hide in his room when there were too many but he never wanted to miss being able to say, “see you next time. I love you guys!”
My grandpa was a proud man one that I would want my boys to be just like and a man I want my girls to marry. Grandpa gave us all great memories!
You will be greatly missed grandpa!
My grandfather was a very kind and generous man. He lived to take care of his family. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He gave his love unconditionaly. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease. One of my favorite memories was up at the cabin. He threw change by the wild strawberry patches on the side of the cabin. He told my cousin guin and I that the money fell from the trees….we had so much fun finding all this money all over. hahaha I think i kinda believed him. Another time we found two ant hills up by the cabin and he thought it was so funny to put some red ants over in the black ants nest and see them battle eachother. Hahaha…. He loved to tell that story how we made the ants battle eahcother and would always get a good chuckle everytime he would tell it. I have so many wonderful memories. He could always make me laugh or put a smile on my face… I love and miss him so very much!!!
Angela and family,
Sending sincere condolences for the loss of your grandfather. Hoping that his life and memory will keep you strong during these hard times. If you need anything at all, please let me know how I can help.
All the best,
Brian
Always in our prayers.
I remember Uncle Roy always smiling and happy.
There are many memories…one of my favorites is of when we were at the cabin and Grandpa would come an sit on Angie or I and act like there was a bump in the couch and all we could do was laugh, laugh, and laugh. Another time is when Angie and I were bored at the cabin and grandpa went outside and cut wood chips off a branch, making our checkers, and grandma painted one set with fingernail polish…we were not bored anymore.
