Ruth Nelson ZINGLEMAN
Born in Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 28, 1920 and passed away peacefully October 22, 2007 in Seattle, WA. Following the death of her father, she moved to Ballard in 1925 with her mother and her brother, Art. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert in 1987. Survived by son, Fred Fran Zingleman; daughter, Linda John Ellingboe; granddaughters, Cindy Steve Ege and Kristin Ellingboe; great-grandson, Torin Ege and many other family and friends. She was an active member of Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway, Foss Home Auxiliary, the Inga Frodesen Guild of the Norse Home and the Ballard High School Golden Beavers. She was a resident of the Norse Home. Visitation Sunday, 10/28 from 2 – 8:00 pm and Monday, 10/29 from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm at Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home, 2003 NW 57th, Seattle, WA. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, 10/30 at Washelli Cemetery, Pacific Lutheran Section. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, 2400 NW 85th St., Seattle. Remembrances are suggested to the church or the American Diabetes Association.
