Walter Frank Schmale

Walter graduated from Willamina High School in 1966 and always loved the area. He maintained wonderful relationships with so many. Walt moved to Tacoma, Washington with his parents after graduation and shortly after gained employment from Boeing. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served 4 years. Afterward, he returned to Boeing where he worked for over 45 years. Walt remained a bachelor until 2011 when he married the love of his life, Jeanne Ashwell. He loved golfing, spending time in Hawaii, and his God-children (Delaney and Grant). He also loved The Beach Boys’ music as well as spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by so many for his kindness and generosity.
