I will miss Ray, we worked and played together during his Navy time and during his Boeing time. We've been friends since 1977 and all through that time he was always cheerful, helpful and trying to do what was right. You couldn't ask for a better person in your corner. See you in the next life my friend. Love Bobby

It was an honor and a privilege to have served with Ray at the Naval Air Station at Whidbey Island Washington in VA-128, the Golden Intruders. We spent a lot of time on the flight line inspecting, fueling, launching and recovering the Grumman A-6E Intruder. He was one of the best Plane Captains that I ever worked with. He was dedicated and focused about everything he did.

Sincere condolences to Ray's family. Although our professional positions often found us in adversarial roles, I always found him to be a reasonable man who did a fine job representing his members. May he rest in peace.

If there was ever a go to guy it was Ray. He helped when there was a problem in our 747 shop. Ray knew our contract forward and backwards and wouldn't take no for an answer. Thank you Ray for all that you did to protect us workers. We will miss you Ray but our Lord needed you more.

Ray was my colleague for several years at the Machinists Union. You could always count on Ray to do the right thing for IAM Membership. He was like a bulldog when it came to fighting for the rights of his Union members. Never saw another like him. I hope his family can find a way to reconcile (forgive) him for anything he said especially during the time he was stricken with ALS. Please accept my condolences for your loss. I will always treasure the memories that I have with Ray. Rest in Peace my Brother!
