Introductory Statement

It has been barely more than a week since Margarett died and I am slowly coping with the pain of her loss.  She was my beautiful wife, my best friend, and my true love.  It is a sad time for those of us who were part of her life.

I could easily have placed 100 photos of her here but we are limited to 10.  There will be many words spoken about her and many more photos at her memorial service on November 11, 10:00AM at the Normandy Park Community Club (The Cove).  All who knew and loved her are welcome.

This site will be active for two months and I will add more to it as I am able.

With love to you all,

Margarett Anne Harrison

I am so sorry to hear about Margarett. I knew her at the U of O when we studied landscape architecture. I remember her as a sweet, kind and very funny young lady. We shared many laughs together. She is lucky to have such a loving family with wonderful memories to last forever. Goodbye Margarett. Xxoo

Dearest Ben and Sam~ I am so saddened to hear of your beautiful and bright Mom's passing. The years that you two boys were here at Preschool I watched your adoring Mother love and support you through every step. I remember her giant loving heart and how she couldn't wait to hear about your days adventures. She loved everything you did!!!! She was the ultimate nurturer! I am grateful for the time we all had together during those very young years! You will be in my thoughts always! I love you! Teacher Linda

Margaret was my very close friend from college - UofO landscape architecture. We had many laughs together (she was a fun and funny gal)! I love her deeply and regret having lost touch this past decade. I will be at the memorial service. I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches with sadness.

I have fond memories of working with Margarett on the Seawall project landscaping including very challenging beach habitat designs! Margarett was always a pleasure to work with and always willing to work together to achieve the project goals and talk through the pros and cons of the various choices. Her legacy will live on through her work on this very signature project for the City!

Every time I step out my front door I will be reminded of Margarett Anne. She designed my front garden and it brings me so much joy. Margarett, you will be missed so much. You fought hard and enjoyed life, you are a great example on how to live each day to the fullest. Your friends will all miss you very much. My heart goes out to Ben, Sam, Sean and her entire family. Love to you all.
