I still remember the 1st weekend you were at the lodge. You told me that you hadn't had wine in a while and took a nap after happy hour. You woke up just in time to get dinner. You were a permanent figure in my life each day I worked for the last 6 yrs. It is hard not seeing you and Lulu here everyday. I got to share your last day with you and it is has been very hard for me every since.

I will always remember Aunt Dottys bright smile and her laugh. Aunt Dotty was not only a special Aunt, she was my most favorite Godmother. We had so much fun at the reunion in 2001. Mom, Dotty and Aunt Flo making many, many blachinka and I was tasked with taking most of them to the some fell off the platters onto the floor where they were instantly scooped up and tested for the always delicious flavor. I will always cherish the laughs in North Dakota and the chats we had while visiting in Seattle. Aunt Dotty and I had an ongoing laugh about her being my favorite Godmother. She always corrected me saying she was my only Godmother. We would look at each other and smile.

Brenda and Jeff...Our deepest sympathy for the loss of you Mother. She is now reunited with Grampa John and Gramma Katie and the rest of her brothers and sisters.

Aunt Dotty...may you rest in peace. As I explained to Jeff, Brenda, Chris and Hildi last night, I can only remember Aunt Dorothy one way. Prim and proper comes to mind...kind of like Mrs. Cleaver. Short, neat hair, nicely dressed. I enjoyed the conversations with cousins and Aunt Hildi and wish you all the very best as you lay your mom, grandma, sister and aunt to rest.

God Bless.

Aunt Dotti-

When I think back to memories of you I recall your warm inviting smile, your caring and grandma like behavior towards all of us nieces and nephews, and your selfless nature. May you rest in peace. Brenda and Jeff, please accept our sympathies, your mother was a very neat lady on the inside as well as outside.
