Gladys AuVerna Brydges

July 7, 1931 - December 13th 2018 

Gladys was born in Idaho, was raised in Tukwila, graduated from Foster High School.  She married and raised her family in Ballard.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family and many friends. She was active member and PHP in L.O.S. Ahmes #41, Daughters of the Nile, and Order of Eastern Star.   

She is survived by daughter Theresa Buol (Jeffrey), Son in law Doug Purdy, grandchildren Skip (Michelle) Klemz, Chris (Amber) Buol, Cheryllynn (Trevor) Waymack, great-grand children Alexander, Vivian and Sean, Foster Sister and Brother Velva Marsh and Kenneth (Joanne) Thomsen and her dearest friend Evie Johansen. 

Presided in death by Husband Walter W Brydges, and Daughter Karin A Brydges-Purdy  Gladys was the last of the Marsh children to pass.

When I had the good fortune to marry her daughter Karin in 1984, I also had a new mom and enjoyed her love and friendship for nearly 35 years. Mom lived with love and gratitude, which I plan to carry forward in my life, along with all the nice memories and stories of Gladys.

Mom was also survived by many nieces and nephews which she loved dearly. Also in leau of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity. Thank you she will be missed by many friends and family.
