These photos are so fun! :) Willie was a wonderful person and great neighbor - she will be missed. She was so sweet with the kids - giving them beanie-babies and always remembering their birthdays. I already miss chatting with her at the mailbox and waving to her on her walks. Janet, our thoughts are with you.

John and Willie were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood as well! John used to have our oldest son up to the carport to "help" him with his fishing poles, which eventually came to us after his passing. I have so many fond memories of Willie. As she passed our house on one of her many walks, I would catch up on what's what in the neighbor hood. I will miss her greatly.

Our thoughts are with you Janet.......

John and Willie were the first to greet us when we moved into the neighborhood in 1984. They were the heartbeat of the cul-de-sac and watched over all of us, our homes and especially the children as they went to/from school. We will miss seeing Willie on her neighborhood walks and hearing about her travels and luck (or no luck) at the casinos. Our thoughts are with you Janet, you took such wonderful care of your mom, your parents are together now, smiling down and sending their love. Our community won't be the same without her.

Our Aunt Willie was a woman ahead of her time! She was strong, determined, and at times, she could be a force to be reckoned with! She was an impeccable dresser. I loved that she and Janet rarely missed any family gathering. I will miss teasing Aunt Willie about whether she would like a cup of coffee or seeing her excitement about an opportunity to go to the casino!! I'm glad she is now in heaven with so many loved ones--especially Big John!!
