Katharine Henderson Dickinson
Born December 6, 1909 in Georgetown, WA; died July 20, 2004 in Burien, WA at the age of 94 years. Lived on Beacon Hill in Seattle all of her life until she moved to the Masonic Retirement Center in Des Moines in May of 2000. A homemaker and loving wife and mother, she was married to her husband John for 67 years. Preceded in death by her husband John, survived by daughter and son-in-law Ida and Richard Eibey. There will be no public services at her request. Memorials to the Masonic Retirement Center, Des Moines. Ida, My heart hurts for you on the passing of your mother. I do rejoice the you in the years of extended time you had with your mother as well as with the knowledge that she now stands hand and hand with her beloved husband in the presence of the Lord…and together they will see you, their much beloved daughter, again one glorious morning in Eternity.
Let God carry you through the difficult days ahead of you as you once again take this difficult path of grief and once again learn to fly.
You have lost a treasure to your heart, let your heart grieve the loss and heal in it’s own time.
