Papa, I will never forget the time you took me to the store and bought me the candy sucker mom wouldn’t let me have. And all the times when you used to chew coffee and you put it on my lip so I could chew just like you. I will miss seeing you every day and I love you. See you in heaven. PS give Sniper a hug and kiss for me. Love Jesse

It was an honor to me the man. the man that raised a strong and good family. one of my favorite memories of Grandpa Wally was at a motorcycle rally. The entire family showed up for a fallen officer rally. Grandpa Wally won the grand prize. it was a two night stay in the honeymoon suite. he got up and there wasnt a dry eye in the place. he just had that way of making people smile. rest in peace.

There is so many things that can be said. A gift, a thank you, laughter, a tear. All these things I have shared with you. Papa you gave me such a gift by loving me and the kids. You accepted me no matter what my faults were. Always with a loving smile, a kiss and a hug. You gave me my children a gift I could never repay. How lucky that my little Gigi will have such fond memories of you. She will always know the love of a great grandfather. How Papa Lolly made her smile. She always lit up when she saw you. I will miss the times shared with you and the laughter in your smile. I will always feel your presence when I see the humming bird fly. I love you Papa.

To have known Wally was in itself was an honor. To have been called ‘son’ from time to time or to have been introduced as his son in law was for me a life time achievement. Like my best friend Lynn said, the past 9 years were filled with memories that will last for me until we meet again in heaven. I know your in good hands because an ‘eagle’ and a ‘thumper’ will show you the ropes.

Dad, I can never thank you enough for always being there for me. Your high expectations of me provided me with the strength to work through the many years of difficult times in my life. You were the father figure for my girls, you loved me unconditionally and never judged when I went astray. I cherish the many wonderful years we had with you most especially the past 9 years when you allowed me to help you and mom. Through the laughter and tears, you were always there; I will miss you so! When my time here on earth has ended, you will meet me on the other side with your smile and open arms. I Love and miss You so very much Dad.

Love, Sis

I remember meeting Wally when I first started working at the Kent Goodwill as a cashier in May 2006. It was an honor to know him as a customer and as a friend. I remember when he was collecting the state quaters. He would ask if I have found any current ones for him to add to his collection. When I did, the smile on his face said it all. When I changes positions at the store, I would see him shopping with Pearl. It was a delight to see him. He will be missed not only by me, but also by my fellow co-workers who have come to know him. Thank you dear Wally.

Papa was like a second dad to me. When I was in first grade I would always go down there after school every afternoon when mom and dad where at work. When he passed it was hard but our family is strong! I loved papa and i still do but it may be bye for now but not for long. He’s in my heart and will be forever. I have lots of memories but they are ALL my favorites! I love you papa and I always will! See ya later alligator! after a while crocodile
