December 15, 1930 – August 1, 2021


Milton, Washington – Jane was the lovely wife of Harry FitzGerald for over sixty years and
is survived by him. She was the beloved mother of Ione, Hank (Paula), and Noel (Wendy)
FitzGerald and adoring grandmother to Kaitlin and Henry III. Jane is also survived by adoptive
family member Ronald (Elaine) Burrows. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters Ione Taft
and Margaret Warrick.


Jane was a native New Yorker, but a resident of the Northwest for 35 years. She was an active
volunteer, helping to establish libraries in Wixom, MI and Roscoe, IL. After moving to the
Northwest, she became an administrative volunteer for the Federal Way Fire Department. Jane
was also a long-time volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Martin of Tours Catholic
Church and for St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way. One of her favorite things to do was to knit
caps for the new born babies.

Viewing: Bonney-Watson, Federal Way, August 23rd, 5 to 8 PM.
Funeral Mass: August 24th, 11 AM, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Fife.
Burial: Tahoma National Cemetery 1:30 to 1:45 PM.


Please join Harry for memories and light refreshments at his home from 3 to 5 PM on the day of
the burial. The home is located at 409 26th Avenue Pl in Milton.
