Obituary
Karen passed away suddenly on August 31, 2021, in her Tukwila home.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961. Karen was preceded in death by her brothers Elwood Stewart and Ronald Stewart and is survived by her twin sister Sharon Pike and Patricia Olson. She had many nieces and nephews, but especially enjoyed time spent with her nieces Cynthia Schaff and Michelle Pike and her great niece Brittany Schaff and great nephew Russell Schaff. She loved her friends and neighbors who were always there for her in her time of need. Karen was a caring, loving person who always only saw the good in people. She will always be missed in our hearts and we are saddened that God called her home.
Visitation on Thursday, September 30, 2021, starting at 11:00 AM with a funeral service starting at 12:30 PM at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
I worked with Karen in the early 80’s at Continental Insurance in Belltown part of Seattle. She and I became friends and socialized after work most Friday evenings.
She was a very kind and great person and she will be missed.
My prayers and sympathy to her sister and entire family. Will plan to attend the funeral.
