R. Glenn Wheeler Obituary ‘ 1950-2021

Rollie Glenn Wheeler (Glenn Wheeler) passed away at his home in Renton, WA on July 15th, 2021, at 6:30pm at the age of 71 from glioblastoma multiform brain tumor.

Glenn is preceded in death by his father, Noble G. Wheeler, his mother, Eleanor Wheeler, his sister, Barbara Haniuck, and his brother, Darrell Wheeler.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Wheeler (Lindahl), of 48 years. They were married in Salem, OR on March 3rd, 1973.

Glenn is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Annie Aguilar of Renton, WA, his son-in-law Gamaliel Aguilar-Gamez, his grandsons, Charlie (age 6) and Thomas Aguilar (age 4 months), his, brothers, Bruce Wheeler and Grant Wheeler, his sister, Darlene Cannon, his brother-in-law Tom Lindahl, his nieces, Louise Whittaker, Twyla Tritt, Monica Eells, Sonia Bissonette, Nita Schlumpberger, Judi McDonald, Edie Patterson, Julie Haniuk-Skinner, Debbie Hepner, Fawn Losey, and Tammy Sells, his nephews, Cliff Wheeler, Nate Wheeler, Caleb Wheeler, Clayton Wheeler, Dale Beckman, David Haniuk, Ron Haniuk, and Pietr Lindahl. 

Glenn was born in Eugene, OR on May 13th, 1950. He graduated from Elmira High School in 1968. He worked in automotive sales, followed by auto loan services.

Glenn enjoyed being with his family, golfing, and putzing around the house and garden. But his fondest hobby was showing Doret sheep across the United States and Canada. He was also an active member of his church as an elder and a Sunday school teacher, as well as a board member of Boise Bible College and Oregon Christian Evangelical Fellowship (OCEF). Lastly, Glenn was a West Salem city council member, in Salem, OR, for seven and a half years.
