Randy, from Kent WA, died in his sleep on June 11th at age 85. He was raised in Detroit and after graduating from University of Michigan, he relocated with his wife and son to Washington. Randy retired from Boeing after 40 years. He was Structures Chief Engineer and creator of patented inventions. Randy is best remembered for his intelligence, dry sense of humor, supportive nature, and love of the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie (nee Train) of 45 years. Survived by his wife Ruby of 17 years, his children Jim, Joyce, Joann, and spouses, sister Diana Oberdier, nieces Cindy and Cathie.
