William Douglas Crawford was born on March 24,1937 in Kirbyville, Texas. His parents were Charles and Belvie Crawford. William passed away on August 8, 2025.
William graduated from Walnut Creek High School (Kirbyville, Texas). After graduating from high school, he went into the Army. He was honorably discharged in 1965. William married the Love of His Life, Helen Jean Carriere Crawford on November 28, 1970. Though this union his children: Brandon, Danika and Shonese Crawford were born. William was employed as a Longshoreman at Pacific Maritime Association from 1970-2011.
William leaves behind a legacy of love. He is survived by his wife, Helen Crawford, son Brandon Crawford and daughter Danika and Shonese Crawford. Grandchildren Amondre’ Delon William White, Brooklyn Antoinette Crawford, Karlo William Crawford and Matteo Jaxton Feka. His sister Oplena Refour (Seattle, WA) and brother Robert (Minnie) Crawford (Houston, Texas).
William was one of thirteen children: His siblings were Jennie (Uncle Preacher) Miles (both deceased), Azzie Lee (Melvin) Evans (both deceased), John Henry (Creola) Crawford (both deceased, Maggie Lee (George) Wilson (deceased), Gladys Mitchelle (both deceased), Minnie Bolden (deceased), Timothy (Rose) Crawford (both deceased), Iona (Alfred) White (both deceased).
William leaves behind a host of niece, nephews, other relatives and Friends.
