Harry Glenn Young

April 15, 1932 - July 22, 2015

Harry was born in Salinas, CA but the family moved when he was baby and he was raised in Washington State. He was drafted as a teen to the Korean war where he was injured and recuperated in Japan.  He worked as operating engineer/ crane operator and most of his tenure was with Lockheed. He worked on Natural Gas pipeline along I-90, place the legs of the Space Needle and enjoyed using his skills as a crane operator to place Hydro planes in the water for Seafair.  He was skilled crane operator and loyal Local 302 union member. He loved bowling and was league member for many years. He was a proud member of the Eagles and proud Veteran. He loved fishing, hunting, and RV trips   He also loved to tinker, build and fix things around the home.

He enjoyed his retirement years especially the cruises that he and Martina took to Alaska and annual RV trips to Arizona.  He could be ornery but most of all he was a loving, hard working  and kind hearted man. He will forever be in our hearts . Harry is survived by his wife, Martina, and four children; Kenneth, Kevin (Lorene) , Kelly (Theresa) and Kristie (Saravanan) and nine grandchildren; Andrew, Brad, Kyle, Elizabeth, Joseph, Mason, Daniel , Maya and Marc.
