“God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me”
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away,
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.”
My sister and I held our Mom’s hands as she passed away. We kept telling her that God would lead her to Him and that it was OK to let go of this life. He took her to Him this August 3rd. She will always be with us in our hearts and our wonderful memories. Love you Mom. BJ

I miss you my sweet Miss Ruth..you were an angel to me and an inspiration. It is just not the same with out you but be assured we are taking good care of Ed. You always made me smile and when I was down you knew it. Not to many can be that aware of others. I truely love you my friend I know you are now at peace and free from pain. You are watching over all who knew and loved you and whom you loved. Some day we will meet again.
My memories of Grandma: Funny, Loved to Laugh; Caring; Queen of Fashion; Honest sometimes brutally so :- Connector of people and ideas; Loved to Learn. I will miss my opportunities to play our game of top the shock, where I tried to shock you with something outrageous and you would let me know if it topped the last attempt. Remember when when I snuck to the back door of your house, tapped lightly knowing you’d be the one to answer, and scaring the heck out of you when you caught a glimpse of me in my newly dyed, fire red hair, blazing in the sunlight? Boy did you and I have a good laugh afterwards! Or, how about when you tried to wipe off my new tatoo with a wet paper towel. You often told me how you enjoyed playing this game, and I always loved your attempts to conceal that shock. I’m glad you got to see me grow up and become a mom and a doctor!. I will so miss your loving nature and our laughs together. You will always be in my heart…~Your Magoo

I’ll miss you, Grams. We had the best time together and you taught me so many things; cooking, cards, all about family and much more. You were an awesome grandma and even more than that a great friend to both Joe and I. Love you so much!
