Susan Eileen Lovell, 58, of Bellevue, Washington, passed away on September 1, 2016. She will always be endearingly remembered as a lover of animals, an accomplished athlete, an art lover, brilliantly smart, and kind and gentle. She attended University of Southern California 1997 – 1979, graduating from Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia, in 1980. She created a successful 35year career in Insurance Underwriting that includes Weyerhaeuser Insurance Services 1981-1993, Parker, Smith & Feek 1993-1995, and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co 1995-2016. Preceded in death by her husband, Michael Smith, and her father, Harold Lovell. She leaves behind her mother, Lillian Lovell (Pleasanton, CA), brother, Jeff Lovell (Pleasanton, CA), sister, Kristi Lovell McClung (St. Charles, MO), nieces; Taryen Lovell (Philadelphia, PA), Elizabeth Turner (Marysville, OH), Taylor Lovell (Belpre, OH), nephews; Andrew Turner (St. Charles, MO) and Kyle Lovell (Pleasanton, CA), as well as many loving aunts, cousins and friends.
She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held on Saturday, September, 24, 2016, 1:30pm – 3:30pm at Purple Café & Wine Bar, 430 106th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA. In lieu of flowers, please donate, in Sue’s honor, to ARF – Animal Rescue Foundation.
