Edmund Roger Stewart
1931 – 2012
Edmund Roger was born in Long Beach, CA to Martha F. (Tolles) and Edmund R. Stewart on December 18, 1931 and passed away peacefully July 4, 2012 surrounded by his family.
Ed served in the Army Air Corp in the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged at the war’s end in 1954. He moved to Seattle and married Helen K. Meyers on August 27, 1954.
He was predeceased by his loving wife in 1996, his parents, his brothers Ivan and Jim, sister Mary, and grandson Jeff. He is survived by daughters Karol Cozad (Ronald), Karen Greb, Beth Stewart-Gonzales (Jose Gonzales), Patricia Cramer (David), and son David (Roxanne). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and his brother Bill.
Ed had a loving and happy childhood and will be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Viewing will be held at Bonney Watson Funeral Home in Federal Way on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 10am – 1pm, a short graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn at 3pm, followed by a Memorial at Bonney Watson Funeral Home in Federal Way at 4pm.
