Eugene Waldon Everson passed away into the loving arms of God on March 4, 2013, in Kent. Eugene, a resident of Des Moines, was born on October 14, 1924, in Minneapolis, MN, to Ralph and Lela Everson.
Eugene was owner of Kingco Marina for many years and retired from the Longshoreman’s Union as a supercargo, supervising the loading and unloading of ships at port. Eugene was a member of Kent 1st Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by brothers Ralph (Carol), Ardith, and Dean (Sherryle), sister-in-law Pearl Everson, as well as many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by brothers Wallace and Darrell, sister-in-law Mae Everson and his business partner, James Simms.
Services will be held at Washington Memorial Park on Monday, March 18th, 2013 at 1:00 pm
