I was sad to hear of Irma’s death. I had the pleasure of meeting her a few times on visits back to Washington with Steve, and I am so glad I got the chance to know her a little bit. She was a lovely, kind person. May she rest in peace, and my condolences to her family.

My sincere condolences to Irma’s family. Irma was a lifesaver for me as I juggled my first three babies (Abby, Bridget, and Claire) while trying to participate in Coop Preschool. Irma was always kind and caring. Even when I no longer needed the daycare, Irma dropped by baby gifts when I had my next two babies. My son, Peter, also has been enjoying the benefits of the Boy Scout cabin. She always had a kind word for me, my family and my in-laws (Charlie and Phyllis Grotz) who also lived nearby. Irma was a sweetheart who brought light and kindness wherever she went.

I came home from a twoweek vacation to find a stack of newspapers Joe saved for me. Today I went through them and suddenly found that lovely face looking at me. What a beautiful lady inside and out – I will always have such wonderful memories of her and also Bob – the crazy “olympics” with a bunch of goofy hand ball players, wonderful dinners at your house and so many laughs.. Such a special couple – she had too many years without him. I’m sorry I wasn’t here to say goodbye to her. She and Pearl and I had a lovely afternoon get together a few years ago and phone calls every few months. She loved her family – I hold good thoughts for you all at this time.

Fondly – Jean (mrs Wrenovitch)
