Words can’t express how sad we feel, that such a young man, who was so warm and loving, would lose his life so young. He was my oldest grandson, and although we didn’t see him very often, we still loved him dearly.

We look forward to the day when he will awake from his sleep, and live in a perfect earth, and have perfect life.

Love, Grandma and Grandpa Schey

We will truly miss Nicky. We look forward to the time when Nicky will wake up from sleep, to enjoy a Paradise here on earth, free from sickness, sorrow or death, Rev 21:3&4. This is the resurrection hope we have from our Loving God, Jehovah. What a wonderful thing to look forward to.

I went to school with Nick when he was here in Selah. My friend called and told me the news.

He probably wouldnt remember me though because I was a little shy. I had a few classes with him. But what I can tell you that I remember him for was his friendliness and smile. I always viewed him as a nice guy. My prayers are with all of your family.

Nick’s first cousin Dennis Buehler is our son-in-law. We didn’t know Nick but when our daughter Christy told us the news, our hearts broke for his family. The tributes posted here for your son are the shining stars in his short life, and it is clear that he was loved, had many friends, and was admired for his hard work and kind personality. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your wonderful son. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I only knew Nick for the short time that we attended Kennedy High School together. But in that time, he touched the lives of all of us there in such a positive way. I was able to track down a few classmates and faculty to share their memories of Nick and made sort of an online memorial for him. I think it will show you just how much he meant to us even for a brief period of our lives. Here is the link: http://students.washington.edu/adubp/ripnick.htm

My prayers and sympathies are with you.

I went to school with nick at wapato. I never really hung out with him but we did play on the same basketball team in the 8th grade and I remember him as a cool kid. It’s to bad that good people have to leave us so soon.

Sincerely Greg doty
