Bernice was such a good friend to my mother, Nancy Fredrickson. Mother told me that after my father died, Bernice came to stay with her at the house. I know that they used to go to visit the ”shut ins” when Bernice was still driving. Mother said that she was still driving even at 92! She was such a caring person. She sent me a special get-well card after I had shoulder surgery. I am so glad that I knew Bernice. I heard that she loved her garden. Perhaps she is tending a beautiful garden in heaven even now. My thoughts are with your family at this time of loss.

Sincerely, Nancy Peterson
