Dear Sweet Children of Dola Moa,

We are so very sorry to find out you have lost your beloved father, Dola. We know how much he loved each and every one of you, and he had friends, like us, even though we didn’t see him often, he was thought about. Dola was in our prayers, after we found out about his accident, several years ago.

You kids are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our Love and Prayers,

“Uncle Les” and “Aunt Pat”

We know that you are working on some kind of vehicle. I know that you will always watch over us and I want to let everyone know how much I love you. I miss you, Love, Mokihana

We want too say, its Uncle Dola’s big graduation day! Were sorry to say, That he will be missed, but his in a much better place, flying with Jesus. The tears we will shed, the memories we will embrace, and the love we will cherish in our hearts forever. We maybe so far from seattle, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all always. To the family, Let God, stand in the Gap where the void is now empty, and let his love embrace you. There is peace, joy, and love in the name of Jesus. Let God in and let the healing begin. Papa,

I only knew you for a short time. That was all I needed to see beyond the hard book cover to the kind, caring, loving and prideful man you are.

Every time I’d stop in for a visit I’d bring chicken sandwiches and Baskin & Robbins ice cream. I know the ice-cream wasn’t too healthy, but you always enjoyed it plus it gave me a excuse to stop by. I’ll always remember the little things, the stories we told and times we shared.

So in honor of you Papa, today I am going to have a chicken sandwich and ice-cream for lunch. It’s funny how those little thought last…

Our Dearest Moa Ohana,

Hawaii loves each and every one of you. No long distance roaming charges or internet log ons is needed to send this message, love requires no fees….just an open heart to receive. Your beloved father, papa, uncle and dearest friend is no longer physically with us, but rest assured that his love will always be felt, even when you least expect it. As the sun sets at the end of the day preparing us for a new dawn, so is his passing preparing us for a new start…he has passed the torch on to the next runner, so let each and every one of us take that torch and run with it as he has done. He has fought a good fight and his journey is over, now it’s our turn to carry on and share the love that he has taught us. We will not be able to attend the services in Seattle, but we look forward to seeing all of you in Kona. Love & Aloha,

Cheryl & Cassidy “Ikaika” Moa

Daddy, through you my brothers and sisters found me hurt and shattered but because of your love and persistance we are finding out that you gave us more love than we ever knew. In honoring your memory we vow to never seperate never misunderstand nor never forsake each other. LOVE will bind us as never before we have a rough road without you but we know now what we lost and we are finding out the answers to questions we never knew the answers to. our wall of shame has been removed and in your name we shall never forget to love eachother unconditionally. Your grandsons love and miss you so much but like you they have it hard to express the suffering they feel but their silence speaks loud of the pain they feel. You are their “PAPA” always and forever. WE LOVE YOU DADDY AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS, AND DADDY I’M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY DADDY AND I LOVE YOU YOUR DAUGHTER DEBRA

Oh Daddy, I miss you and will every single day for the rest of my life. I am so glad that I got to spend time with y ou on that last day and that I had a chance to get to know you as an adult. You were always bigger than life in my eyes and I always looked to you for wisdom. Sometimes we didn’t have alot to say to each other…neither of us being big conversationists…but when you spoke, I listened and you did the same for me. Like I told you on that last day together. YOU are my Dad and nobody else and you always will be. I love you Daddy. You are free now to do whatever you want physically that you couldn’t do with your disability Go, run, drive, work in God’s yard, fix his cars!!

Always, #1

Hi Daddy, I keep coming to this site as I feel it is the only way to reach you…silly, I know….Everywhere I look in the house, I see you….Even in Kona, your chair, your bedroom…and there is a deep emptiness inside of me…will we ever get over this sadness? I promise to you again that I will make a home for OUR family and be sure ALL your children feel free to return to their homeland where you want them to go…Kona is not the same anymore knowing you will not return there….I hope that my brothers and sisters will know that it is their place too and that your hand will guide us in achieving your wishes there….I will love you forever and ever and miss you just as much…Your youngest daughter, Judy Mapuana Moa

Daddy, I just want to thank you for marrying Mama so that I would have a Daddy to grow up and proud of! Though you were very tough on me when I was a kid, I now realize it was because you wanted to keep me safe from the influences of the world and you had high hopes for me. Thank you Daddy, for your guidance all my life and thank you for the love you were finally able to express when I was all grown up. I will cherish your love and support forever. I know that you are at the feet of Jesus now and I continue to pray for you every single day. I love you very much.

Always,
