Uncle Mickey was a hero. He survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and although it must have left terrible memories, he never let it interfere with the devotion and love he had for his family. I will always remember his kindness and open loving ways. I will miss him. I know he is at peace and reunited with loved ones that have gone before him.

My Uncle Mickey was from the generation of men who could do anything. They don’t make ’em like that anymore. He was a real hero who made many sacrifices for his country. He loved his family and had many happy years with Aunt Margie. Rest in peace Uncle Mickey. You deserve it! My love to you.
