Frank Alberigo AMICARELLA
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully January 4 following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Frank was born in Seattle on August 3, 1926 to Angelo and Philomena Amicarella. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1944. Following 2 years service in the US Army he became a baker and retired from Gai’s Bakery in 1989. He was a member of the Bakers Union Local 9, Seattle Fidele Lodge #1390, and the Eagle’s Club where he shared his love of dancing with his many friends. In 1947 he married Joyce Webb. They later divorced. He leaves his beloved wife of 25 years Ethel; daughters Jan Rothenhoefer and Diane Amicarella Sohns Michael; son John; granddaughters Taylar and Jordyn Sohns; stepdaughters Nancy Harris Ric and Nadine Griggs; stepsons Melvin Shaver and Don Shaver Loretta; granddaughters Sonia, Michelle and Christina; two great-granddaughters Zoe and Heide; sister Mary Hartle and a large extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Guy. A heartfelt thanks to family and friends for their love, help and support. Visitation Wednesday, January 7, 2004 12:00 Noon – 8:00 PM at Bonney-Watson, Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd. Funeral mass 10:00 AM Thursday, January 8, 2004 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 4415 S 140th Street, Tukwila. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
