Tina Vert passed away on May 15, 2026 surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, strength, and unconditional love. Born on February 22, 1953, in Taurasi, Italy to Maria Anna Santosuosso and Dionisio Martiniello, Tina immigrated to the United States at the age of 13 alongside her parents and younger brother, Anthony Martiniello, in search of a new life and greater opportunities.
She grew up in South Park, where she attended the Our Lady of Lourdes school and met the love of her life, Jeffrey Vert. The two were inseparable from a young age, marrying at just 19 years old and building a beautiful life together that spanned 52 years of marriage. Together they made their home in Burien and raised four children.
Tina was a proud Italian woman whose greatest joy was her family. She expressed love through acts of service, whether by cooking large family meals, tending to her garden, caretaking for others, or simply making sure everyone around her felt loved and welcomed. She loved cooking, gardening, shopping, traveling, and spending time having coffee with friends. She was fiercely loyal, deeply protective of those she loved, resilient through life’s hardships, and always put others before herself.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Vert; her children, Jonathan (Jennifer), Robert (Nancy), James (Shawna), and Stefani (Chase). She also leaves behind her seven beloved grandchildren, who she adored: Kaitlyn, Emily, Audriana, Jack, Lidia, Reese, and Lorrie. Tina treasured being a Nonna and found immense happiness in watching her grandchildren grow, perform in school events, and participate in sports and activities. She loved spoiling them with gifts, cooking pastina, teaching them Italian traditions, and baking cookies for them; creating memories they will cherish forever.
Tina will be remembered as the heart of her family and a caring and selfless woman whose warmth, strength, and unwavering love shaped the lives of everyone around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on through the family she cherished so dearly.
Rest Peacefully, Tina. Sei stato amato profondamente e i tuoi ricordi vivranno con noi per sempre.Ti amiamo fino alla luna e ritorno.
What a lovely life you built. My your memories offer you comfort and joy.
