Gloria E. Roedel
Born on February 12, 1925 in Sullivan, Missouri to Earl and Laura Moneymaker, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2008 surrounded by her family. Gloria enjoyed her grandchildren, spending time with her family, cooking, yachting, playing bridge, entertaining, and her many friends. Gloria is survived by her beloved husband Robert F. Roedel MD of 58 years. Gloria had 6 children, Ellen Cole Les, Melanie A. Green Skip, Nancy C. Roedel, Michele E. Roedel Chas Douglass, Robert N. Roedel, Gwen Roedel Garry Green. Gloria was very devoted to her 8 grandchildren, Mark, Kevin, Michael, Emma, Clayton, Jagaer, Ryder, and Nathaniel. Gloria could not have lived as independently as she did without the love and support from her siblings, Barbara, Howard and David Moneymaker. The family would like to say thank you to Aegis of Shoreline for their loving care. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Madeline Sophie Catholic Church 4400 130th Pl. SE, Bellevue. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Marsha Rivkin Center of Ovarian Cancer Research in memory of Michele Roedel who passed away from Ovarian Cancer in Jan. of 2008.
