Obituary
Our loving father, and solid anchor, Gordon Ernest Meador passed in peace at the age of 94 on January 31, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born in San Pedro, CA to Emmanuel and Florence (Peterson) Meador on September 20, 1926. Ruby Marie (Jones) Meador, his beloved wife of 67 wonderful years preceded him in death. He is survived by four children: Linda George and husband Bob, Carolyn Strem and husband Eric, Ray Meador and wife Anne, Sharon Crumbo and husband Dave, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, beloved sisters Joy Gresset and her husband Harold (deceased) and Carol and Gary Lindenmayer and many nieces and nephews.
He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a distinguished minister affiliated with the Assemblies of God for over fifty years, a proud patriot, and US Navy veteran, WWll. Private graveside service, celebration of life service to be announced.

I will always be grateful to you for setting a great example for me and the rest of the grandkids. You are a man of integrity, compassion, and valor. You walked the walk and talked the talk. Thank you for being a light to me.
