Helen Anne Colasurdo Pompeo was born in Seattle, WA on September 7, 1925, to Angelo A. Colasurdo and Maria Concetta Marchitto. She died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She lived a long and full life of 100 years.
Helen is survived by her daughters Karen Sullivan, Teresa Briggs, Mary Lamey, husband Greg, Barbara Underwood, and sons James Pompeo, wife Jeanette, Richard Pompeo, wife Kari, and nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Helen’s husband, John, of 69 years, preceded her in death.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM with reception to follow.
A private service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
Remembrances can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
