Our loving mother passed away peacefully on Sept. 14, 2007 at the age of 93. Born near Victoria B.C., Canada, Irma came to the U.S. as a teenager, became a citizen, eventually married and raised four daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stan, of 53 years, daughter, Dolores, granddaughter, Stacy, sister, Hazel and brother, Alan. She is survived and deeply missed by her daughters, Joan Henderson Don, Mary "Janie" Glenn Larry, Patti Bibby Jim, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-granchildren, nieces and nephews in Canada and her many friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 16445 Int’l Blvd., SeaTac, WA – 206-242-1787 at 2:30 PM. You are invited to a reception immediately following the service in the hospitality room of the funeral home.

I will always remember Grandma, sweet and pink, and her Christmas cookies. She was the cornerstone of a strong loving family. I am grateful for all of them and have many happy memories of our picnics at Flaming Geiser. I hope we all use her memory for inspiration to be better parents, spouses, and friends. I love you!
