Obituary

John William Glenn Jr., born July 19, 1920, passed away September 14, 2005 surrounded by loved ones in his home. He is survived by his wife Ellen of 59 years; daughters, Mary and Len Halseth, Eileen and Andy Sawyer, Patricia and Soy Chhee; son John and Trulene; sisters, Muriel Culbert; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Halseth and his sister, Mel Evans. John retired after 35 years as a Boiler Maker and Superintendent at Duwamish Shipyard and served in the Army Air Force during WWII. He was an outdoorsman who loved to travel, camp, fish and garden. He enjoyed “Coffee Time” at Ivar’s and spending time with the grandkids. He was a man of many talents and will always be remembered. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 3:00 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 206 242-1787.

Grandpa always had his hand out for Kailis to give him a high five when Kailis would walk into the room. We miss you grandpa and love you very much!

There are so many memories that I will never forget.. He always cared about us grandkids and how we were! He was the best gramps ever! I will miss you and Love you Forever!
